Hello! My name is Thomas James Hernandez, and I am an adventurer and tech professional from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

 

With over five years of experience in communications, data science, and emerging technology, I have honed the skills to develop innovative programs, organize dynamic teams, and communicate effectively on sensitive matters. Currently, I serve as the Chatbot Coordinator for East Stroudsburg University, where I focus on developing an AI-driven chatbot system to enhance the user experience on the university's website.

But my story does not end there. My lifelong passion for storytelling has pushed me past life's everyday melody. During my time at the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts, I explored life through dance and theatre, performing in various plays, musicals, and commercials.  I then made my way to Temple University, where I studied Communication Studies and Political Science. My time there was marked by unique opportunities and recognition, including opportunities to conduct research beyond the continental U.S., cultivate proficiencies with new technology, and learn various languages. I graduated Summa Cum Laude, with University Honors, and with Distinction in both of my fields, earning several awards along the way.

Since graduating, I have continued to weave my journey while working within the realm of AI and visiting some of the most beautiful places imaginable. As I continue experiencing life, I am always reminded that this world is truly remarkable.
